NTFS REPARTITION DRIVER
NTFS-3G is a Driver and it cannot create an NTFS partition in of and by itself! The fact that hdiutil which is a part of OS X can create a NTFS partition that has Read/Write access because of having NTFS-3G (and MacFUSE) installed is not the same thing as NTFS-3G creating the partition as it is hdiutil that is creating it. But it has also the ability to make disk utility able to create NTFS partitions. Since the first part of what you asked was not technically feasible I'm not sure based on the context what it is your actually trying to do so I suggest that you read and provide additional information as requested within that document so there is a clearer and more concise picture of what you're asking and trying to do. I would like to be able to manipulate one of my partition through my vm. VMware Fusion (menu bar) > Help > VMware Fusion Help > Managing Virtual Machines > Using VMDKMounter to Mount a Virtual Disk as a Mac Volume So it's not totally clear what you want to do however it you want to mount a NTFS formated virtual hard drive of one of your Fusion Virtual Machines while it is not running or suspended you can use VMDKMounter to do that and that is covered in the VMware Fusion Help File. Obviously creating a partition and mounting a partition are two different things. NTFS-3G is a driver that provides NTFS Read/Write support via FUSE so an NTFS partition has to preexist and the partition can be mounted not created.
Well considering that NTFS-3G is only a driver and does not have the ability to create a NTFS partition I say the answer was no however I suspect you do not realize what you've asked is technically wrong and really are trying to ask something else. I would like to know if it would be possible to mount a NTFS partition created with NTFS-3G on the host's hard drive?
